This 3 step product comes with 3 different bottles (a softner, mask, and clarifying essence)

Step 1: Deep Pore Sebum Softner

Directions: After washing your face with warm water (it helps to open up your pores), apply the deep pore sebum softner (about a dime size, or however much you think you need to apply a thin coat on your face/ whatever area you’re planning to apply the mask on)

*I’ve also read a review that suggests leaving a warm soaked face towel on your face for about 5-10 ~ minutes to further open your pores

Step 2: Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask

Directions: Apply an appropriate amount (be generous) to the desired area of the face (make sure its thick, if it’s still translucent it might not peel off as well) Leave it on for approximately 15~20 minutes to allow for it to dry (if it’s still glossy, leave it on for longer) Peel it off from bottom up and embrace the yucky white pores that came out of your face!

Step 3: Skin Clarifying Pore Treatment Essence

Directions: After peeling off and cleaning your face from any remnants with a washcloth, apply step 3 (about the same amount used for step 1), and again apply it to the areas where the mask was applied.

vs.

Biore Nose Strips

*Images of comparison to Biore nose strip

[Pros]

  • Smells pleasant (non-chemical, clean and fresh scent)
  • Flexibility to be applied around the mouth, etc.

[Cons]

  • Not as effective as I had hoped for (*in comparison to the Biore nose strips)
  • While peeling the mask off, there will be bits and pieces left onto your face that you will have to wash off after
  • A mess to apply the mask on (found it extremely hard to apply an even layer throughout the face without thinning another part out)
