Revlon’s Mega Multiplier Mascara Review
Revlon is a drug store brand that can usually be seen with celebrities endorsing the brand – Gwen Stefani in this case. The image of Gwen used to showcase this mascara is in my opinion, a misrepresentation of what the actual mascara can do for your natural lashes seeing as to how it’s being paired with false lash inserts on her. (assuming that majority of mascara users do not wear false lashes)
The mascara claims to be:
An innovative formula that combines fibres and 360 degree tube technology in one step to plump and extend lashes.
Removes easily with warm water
But is it really?
After applying a coat of the Mega Multiplier Mascara onto my natural lashes and going about my day, I can attest to the claims of it being smudge proof, flake proof, water resistant (it was raining that day), and removes easily with warm water (how when it’s water resistant? I have no clue!)
But the claim of it plumping and extending the lashes to achieve an oversized look? HAH yeah, no way is this happening without false lashes.
Revlon Mega Lash Brush
“Cone shaped brush with 3 different bristle lengths that deposit formula from lash line to tip for a mega lash look”
But is it really?
Well yes, it is cone shaped and I’m going to go with them on the 3 different bristle lengths (because I’m not grabbing my ruler out to check), but it didn’t create that mega lash look and I’m sure many would agree with me on it.
My “natural look” with Revlon’s Mega Multiplier Mascara
+ Removes easily with warm water
+ Water resistant
+ Does not flake and smudge
– Does not meet claims of volumizing your lashes
– Formula will weigh your lashes down
– Does not have a strong differentiating factor

Would I purchase this product?
No, I honestly would not. My lashes are naturally quite long even without mascara so it’s not like this mascara did me any justice. Because there are so many other mascaras out in the market, this does not have a strong enough differentiating factor for me to choose it over another product.
What would I recommend instead?
When it comes to mascara, I tend to lean towards Benefit Cosmetics’ Roller Lash because its light weight formula keeps my (straight Asian) lashes curled for a longer period of time and the hooks on the wand applicator design allows for me to easily coat and curl the lashes at the same time.
