So today, after hearing absolutely amazing things about Mildred’s Temple Kitchen over the past few months and how it is by far one of the best brunch hotspots in Toronto, I had to check it out! FYI for those of you who have never heard or been to Mildred’s before, they do not take any reservations for brunch on the weekends so wait times can range from 30 mins – 1 hour+ if you arrive during their peak hours (10am-2pm – they close at 3pm lol). Our table was graced with the black current scone and buttermilk biscuit (the biscuit was the bomb.com), followed by the infamous Mrs Biederhof’s Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes, The Manhandler, and ended with a little birthday surprise courtesy of Mildred’s.

I absolutely adore this loose fitting collared v-neck blouse I purchased back in April during my trip to Tokyo, Japan. I purchased it from the brand, INGNI in Harajuku, Shibuya. Its versatility makes it so easy to wear this top out to any occasion (work, brunch, shopping, etc.) and it’s lightweight material prevents me from sweating buckets during this heated summer we’re having in Toronto.
Recommend to me your favourite brunch spots in Toronto please! I would love to check them out! 🙂
